c.1930 Hubley, Cast Iron Toledo Scale
Outstanding cast iron Toledo numerical scale with movable, nickel plated weighing platform and needle. Superb original orange paint with raised, white painted lettering. Both front and reverse sides are numbered "O 1 2 3 4 5". Reverse also includes "NO SPRINGS HONEST WEIGHT". Interior underside of the scale is embossed "TS 725" on one side and "TS 726" on the other half in raised characters. These are part numbers which identify the manufacturer. Like most Hubley toys it does not have the Hubley name on it. Size: 4" tall x 4" long x 1" wide. Sold: Apr. 2005
